What’s Your History?

My husband and I have raised our two daughters here in the Vancouver area I love the PNW and couldn’t imagine calling another place home. Our youngest started high school this year and our oldest is in collage at WSU here in Vancouver. I have two step children in their 30’s that live in Post Falls Idaho, they have blessed us with 6 beautiful granddaughters. I love being a Grandma!

Tell us about your dogs.

This summer we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl of almost 13 years. She was a black lab named Molly, such a gentle soul she was. She is missed dearly.
Our newest addition is a yellow lab puppy. Annie is full of spunk and energy. She loves her walks and to chase anything that moves.

What is your favorite thing about walking dogs?

I get a lot of enjoyment being outside walking with a furry friend, it’s a great way to spend my day.

What experience do you have working with dogs and other animals?

Besides being a dog and cat owner, I grew up with animals. When I was a young girl, there was a family of raccoons that lived near our house. My family gave them names and we would feed and love on our wild, furry, little friends. I also have always had a passion for rescuing animals, whether it was a mouse our cat captured or a loon that needed help. My mom and I were always rescuing them. And I haven’t stopped as an adult – birds, bunnies, kitties, and lost doggies – my girls and I are always trying to help them.

For fun I enjoy…

Walking,  hiking, photography, camping, reading, and good movies.

If you had to eat the same meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Well, I love tacos and cheeseburgers…I have to choose one? This is hard but I’ll go with cheeseburgers and fry’s.

What is one hope or dream you have for your future?

One dream is to be able to travel the world with my husband.
